Five Held as SOE Continues

Five individuals—including a Diego Martin woman accused of inciting violence against Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and businessman Danny Guerra—have been placed under preventive detention orders by Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander under the Emergency Powers Regulations 2025.

Olive Green-Jack of Morne Coco Road was detained for social media posts showing the Prime Minister’s Philippine residence and urging the Venezuelan government to target it. The order said her posts posed an “imminent threat to public safety.”

A separate order targeted businessman Danny Guerra, arrested on Thursday and accused of leading an organised crime gang involved in arms trafficking, money laundering, illegal quarrying and plotting attacks—including an alleged assassination plan against a government minister.

Three additional orders were issued against suspected gang figures:
Tyreek Romeo of Beetham Gardens, linked to the 7 Gang and allegedly planning violent reprisals.
Gerome “Bush” Awai of Petit Valley, alleged leader of the “Valley Monsters,” tied to major gangs and accused of murders, robberies, and drug and gun trafficking.
Vishnu “Rishi” Kalpoo of Point Fortin, accused of large-scale trafficking in narcotics, firearms, contraband, and human smuggling.
