41-year-old Chaguanas teacher Komal Maharaj has gone missing for the second time in a year. He was last seen around 1:31 p.m. on September 26, 2025, leaving home and later entering a silver Nissan Wingroad (PDM-6995) with a “FOR SALE” sticker, after appearing “worried” at a nearby savannah. Dressed in jeans, a black sweater, and sunglasses, he had earlier messaged his wife but stopped responding, and his phone now goes straight to voicemail.
Maharaj previously vanished in September 2024 for four days, during which he was reportedly held captive in Venezuela before returning. Police, led by W/Sgt. Gomez, are urging anyone with information on the vehicle or his whereabouts to come forward.
