Missing teacher and financial consultant Komal Maharaj, 41, has been found safe at a Piarco hotel, two days after relatives reported him missing on September 27. Maharaj, who also disappeared in 2024, was last seen leaving his Chaguanas home and later entering a silver Nissan Wingroad with a “for sale” sign. His wife and two young daughters were distressed by the disappearance, which came just before his 42nd birthday. Police, including the anti-kidnapping unit, were investigating, and relatives said they had no contact with him during this period. In 2024, Maharaj was reportedly kidnapped and taken to Venezuela before being found two weeks later.
